How to Find . . .

How to find articles, books, census data, images, laws, literary criticism, news, video, and more

Off Campus Digital Access

If you are off campus, you can access everything we have online. Most of the library's resources are digital and can be accessed from anywhere. You will need to login using your UTM Portal username and password.

If you run into any issues, please chat with us or text us at (731) 503-4874 to let the library know. We can walk you through any necessary steps, and we can troubleshoot if something goes awry!

Default Password

Try your UTM username and password (what you use for email and Canvas) first. If that does not work, you may still have a default password.

  • The default login is the first 3 letters of your first name, middle initial, and the first four letters of your last name.
  • Your password is the last four digits of your SSN, plus the first 3 letters of your birth month with the first letter capitalized, plus the two-digit year of birth.
  • Example: Joan Q. Public, ssn: 123-45-6789; date of birth: June 10, 1981
  • Login: joaqpubl       Password: 6789Jun81

If you have problems logging in for the first time, contact UT Martin's ITS Help Desk at (731) 881-7900
