10. Challenges and reconsideration of materials
Materials in the library are selected to support the institution’s teaching, research, and service missions and support the needs of the University of Tennessee at Martin community. Requests for the reconsideration of materials must be submitted in writing. The request for reconsideration will be reviewed by the Collection Development Committee and sent to the Dean of the Library for review, final decision, and response. For the review, the criteria for selecting library materials listed in the Collection Development Policy will be used (see section 1 Criteria).
