Zotero is a free citation management software. You can download the software onto your computer or use the cloud version online. The cloud version allows you to access your source library across multiple devices. You can also add a browser extension in Chrome or Safari for an easy, one-click way to save your articles. Zotero features:

• Store and retrieve your citation information
• Store downloaded links or PDFs to get back to your sources
• Organize your sources into folders
• Format in-text citations, endnotes, and footnotes in your chosen citation style
• Create bibliographies in your chosen style

All the fields in Zotero are fully editable, so you can make corrections and take notes directly in Zotero.
