Breaks are an important part of studying. Research has shown that you are more likely to retain information by taking short breaks in between larger chunks of studying time, and breaking up your studying time over multiple days or weeks. Study early, study often, and study smart.
Give yourself a ten minute break by doing one of these activities:
- Take a walk
- Look up cute animal pictures
- Meditate
- Color a picture
- Start a puzzle
- Read a short story
- Stretch
- Play a quick card game
- Put on your favorite song and sing along
- Watch a funny video
