Breaks are an important part of studying. Research has shown that you are more likely to retain information by taking short breaks in between larger chunks of studying time, and breaking up your studying time over multiple days or weeks. 

Give yourself a ten minute break:

• Take a walk
• Look up cute animal pictures
• Meditate
• Color a picture
• Read a fun chapter of a book or short story
• Do some stretching
• Play a quick card game
• Put on your favorite song and sing along
• Watch a funny video
