As an International Studies major, a foreign language minor is part of your requirements. These resources are also helpful for any students considering studying abroad or just interested in a language as a hobby.

Language Learning:

Teach yourself a new language! Almost 100 languages available, including French, German, Urdu, Arabic, Italian, Chinese, and Korean. You will need to create a FREE user account to access this resource and save your progress.

Duolingo
Duolingo takes a more gamified approach to language. They offer more than 30 languages, including French, German, Spanish, and Japanese. There are also courses in English, Korean, Navajo, Welsh, and more. For a fun pop culture bonus, try High Valyrian or Klingon.
BBC Languages
The BBC offers various language resources, including free lessons and courses for languages and key phrases in 40 languages.
MIT Global Studies and Languages
The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has an open courseware site with a section on languages and culture. Here you can find courses on various languages (like Japanese and French) and culture (like East Asian Culture and Modern Mexico).
