ARTH 210 & 211

Updated Fall 2020

Welcome to the LibGuide for The History of Art!  You'll find several helpful resources for your research papers/projects, including several library databases.  You'll also notice a PML Search box to the left (or above on smaller screens) for a quick one-stop search of UTM Library resources, including books/ebooks, articles, and streaming video.

Feel free to explore the various resources on this page.  And schedule an appointment if you need more in-depth assistance.

UTM has a variety of databases housing articles, images, and more.  You can use the following links to search specific databases for scholarly articles, primary source materials, and images.  Remember, you'll want to use a variety of keywords (and synonyms) in multiple combinations to conduct multiple searches.  If you get stuck, schedule an appointment with a librarian for more assistance in navigating the databases or just brainstorming search terms.

Below you'll will find just a handful of the many books Paul Meek Library has in our collection.  Unless otherwise stated, all books are located in the Main Collection, on the second floor of the Library. If you have trouble locating the books or need help with the call numbers, please stop by the main service desk for assistance.

The links below will give you some extra assistance when it comes to developing and checking citations for your projects.  You may also find citation generators within various electronic resources to be helpful.  Just remember that you always want to double check any automated citations!
