Scholarship of Teaching and Learning

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Reference Guide by College

Dear Faculty Member,

This Reference Guide was developed as an offshoot of the Title III grant that was awarded to UT Martin and contains five components:  (1) creating a culture of evidence; (2) developing Faculty Teaching and Learning Communities; (3) renovating the Vet Tech Building; (4) instituting a Peer Academic Coach program; and (5) implementing a new student advising software. The Faculty Teaching and Learning Communities are led by two faculty mentors and will be focusing on the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. Because UT Martin's primary mission is teaching, this Reference Guide is open to all faculty, rather than just those participating in a Faculty Teaching and Learning Community.

This Reference Guide provides resources to assist you in learning more about: (1)  the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) as a body or research and (2) the practice of SoTL in your discipline.

The tabs above this message are organized by Academic College, with one additional tab for additional websites and resources.

If you identify a journal or link to add to this Guide, please contact me at bdaniel@utm.edu or 7015.

Best wishes in your scholarly pursuits.
