If you prefer to use a Kindle app or device you can download the book to your computer or device. In your web browser search for a book you want to check out and select "Borrow".
This will bring up a page where you will need to confirm you want to borrow the book. And you can select the time period by clicking on the number of days.
A second page will then appear with reading and downloading instructions. If you prefer to use Kindle over the dedicated Libby app you should select "Read now with Kindle".
Clicking "Read now with Kindle" will direct you to an Amazon sign in page. Sign into the Amazon account connected to your Kindle account and device. An option to download the library book to your preferred device will appear on the right side of the screen. Click "Get Library Book" to download.
