* Library COVID-19 Updates

Ongoing updates about services and help the Paul Meek Library is offering as part of our contingency plan in response to COVID-19. Updated 4/1/2020.

Library Hours

 

IMPORTANT: The library is currently CLOSED, from Wednesday, April 1. The 24 hour computer lab remains OPEN.

 

Please contact us with any questions. We are monitoring the chat and providing virtual research assistance during these hours:

8am-10pm M-Thurs
8am-5pm F
2-7pm Sunday

Library Services

Please keep your checked out items. We are not charging fees for missing/late items at this time. 

Computer access: The 24 hour computer lab remains open for access to computers and internet.

Research help: We are providing online research help. 

Other library services: All other library services have been suspended for the time being. 

Safety tips:

  • If you choose to come to the 24 hour computer lab, use caution and remain aware.
  • Keep a distance of 3-6 feet between individuals.
  • Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer after using any common equipment, such as computers.
  • We are sanitizing everything multiple times per day, but we cannot guarantee that germs have not spread between cleanings.

Online Library Resources

Many of our resources are available online. Be sure to log in with your UTM username and password. Contact us if you need help. 

Temporary Free Resources

In response to COVID-19, many publishers are making part of their collection, especially any part related to the novel coronavirus outbreak, freely available for a limited time. We will continue to update this list as we receive new resources. These resources are temporary.
